I WONDER?
Why do people let other people decide their happiness?
Why do we not put fate into our OWN hands,
Decide which road We want to travel,
instead of being lead around- letting other people decide,
by THEIR actions, if WE are happy or not?!?
At what point do we fail to find, within ourselves, to stop
taking responsibility for our own feelings?
To stand firm on our believes and standards?
To have no one to blame for our unhappiness-but ourselves?
To be our own dictator, instead of someone else?
I think about this a lot-
I see it in myself and in other people around me-
I wonder at what age we lose ourselves and decide
to let others actions, words, and feelings become more
important than our OWN words and feeling?
I wonder????

You can stop wandering now.
But that's exactly what I mean... We sit and think If Only... "if only they would love me," "if only they were nicer to me", "if only they would do this for me" "if only they would change this about themselves" like we don't have the ability to happy ourselves. We expect everyone else and their actions to make US happy! Love or not we still have control over our own lives... don't we??
